Aaj bhi qaafila-e-ishq ravaan hai ke jo tha, | Urdu Poetry

Poet : firaq-gorakhpuri
Aaj bhi qaafila-e-ishq ravaan hai ke jo tha,
Aaj bhi qaafila-e-ishq ravaan hai ke jo tha,
Wohi meel aur wohi sang-e-nishaan ke jo tha,
Phir tera gham wohi ruswaa-e-jahaan hai ke jo tha,
Phir fasaana ba-hadees-e-digraan hai ke jo tha,
Manzilen gard ke maanind urri jaati hain,
Wohi andaaz-e-jahaan-e-guzaraan hai ke jo tha,
Zulmat-o-noor main kuch bhi na mohabbat ko mila,
Aaj tak ek dhundlake ka samaan hai ke jo tha,
Yuun to is daur main be-kaif si hai bazm-e-hayaat,
Ek hungaama sar-e-ritl-e-giraan hai ke jo tha,
Laakh kar jaur-o-sitam laakh kar ehsaan-o-karam,
Tujh pe aye dost wohi vehm-o-gumaan hai ke jo tha,
Aaj phir ishq do aalam se judaa hota hai,
Aasteenon main liye kaun-o-makaan hai ke jo tha,
Ishq afsurda nahin aaj bhi afsurda bohat,
Wohi kamm kamm asr-e- soz-e-nihaan hai ke jo tha,
Nazar aa jate hain tum ko to bohat naazuk baal,
Dil mera kya wohi aye sheesha-e-giraan hai ke jo tha,
Jaan de baithe they ik baar havas vaale bhi,
Phir wohi marhala-e- suud-o-ziyaan hai ke jo tha,
Aaj bhi said-gaah-e-ishq main hussn-e-saffaak,
Liye aabruu ki lachakti si kamaan hai ke jo tha,
Phir teri chashm-e-sukhan-sanj ne chairri koi baat,
Wohi jaadu hai wohi husn-e-bayaan hai ke jo tha,
Raat bhar husn pr aaye bhi gaye sau sau rang,
Shaam se ishq abhi tak nigaraan hai ke jo tha,
Jo bhi kar jaur-o-sitam jo bhi kar ehsaan-o-karam,
Tujh pe aye dost wohi vehm-o-gumaan hai ke jo tha,
Aankh jhapki ke idhar khatm hua roz-e-visaal,
Phir bhi iss din pe qayamat ka gumaan hai ke jo tha,
Qurb hi kam hai na duusri hi zeyada lekin,
Aaj woh rabt ka ehsaas kahaan hai ke jo tha,
Teera-bakhti nahin jaati dil-e-sozan ki Firaq,
Shamaa ke sar pe wohi aaj dhuaan hai ke jo tha..
